The Blue Layer

The Blue Layer is a digital abstract where deep blue and molten gold pour into each other like ocean and sun. Eye-shaped suns gaze out from the currents, dolphins arc through liquid light, and orbs drift like bubbles rising through dark water. At the bottom, a crystalline cube holds its own swirling world — a layer within the layer. The piece is about depth: the way looking closer at anything — a feeling, a memory, the sea — only reveals more blue beneath. I create my artwork using different apps on my phone, letting color flow until the image settles into its own tide.
