The Future is Here

The Future is Here is a digital surrealist reimagining of the Creation of Adam for the age of machines. A mechanical hand studded with circuitry reaches from the left toward a human hand from the right, their fingers a breath apart against a cosmic swirl of violet and gold. Below the almost-touch, the witnesses gather: a robot with watchful green eyes, a serene android woman, and skeletal figures holding their skulls — past, present, and future in one frame. The piece is about the moment we are living in: creation happening again, this time with us as the makers. I create my artwork using different apps on my phone, composing the scene until the spark feels ready to jump.
