Delusions

Delusions is a digital surrealist journey through the tricks the mind plays. Two blue figures tumble weightless inside a glowing orb — falling, floating, impossible to tell which — while a woman in a dark dress watches from beside a brick wall, and a tortoise carries a tiny red-hatted rider across the bottom of the frame. A glass tips and splashes on a spindly table, frozen mid-spill. The piece is about the beautiful unreliability of perception: the mind's theater, where nothing is quite real and everything feels true. I create my artwork using different apps on my phone, staging each impossible moment until the delusion holds together.
